Our mission is to promote ecological stewardship, increase the knowledge and understanding of healthy ecosystems, and provide tools and support to help stewardship organizations build their capacity to do the work they do.
The Stewardship Centre for BC (SCBC) is committed to working with local communities, local governments and the planning and building professions to champion science-based best stewardship practices for land and water in BC. As good stewardship relies on good decision- making, our work focuses on government, land owners, development and business communities. We also work closely with conservation and environmental organizations and the citizens of BC. Learn More about the SCBC
